I'd only agree with you if you'd be okay on the opposite side of that situation. That is to say, if someone said "you wronged me, prepare to die!", your only response would be "Okay."

I'd try to emulate 2d imagery as much as possible. I wouldn't show any unflattering angles, and I'd go so far as to dramatically morph the face depending on the angle of the camera like Dragon Ball Fighterz does to preserve that 2D look.
At that point, we might as well just draw the whole thing in 2D, but I don't want to because I like working with 3d and I don't like drawing.
