I've been saying this in XIV threads for months, XIV is nearing the end of it's "product lifecycle" wherein they know they're not going to get MORE subs/players in the future no matter what they do, so they wind down the resources they put into it. It has almost nothing to do with money you literal retards. XI has always been profitable, but it was put out to pasture, because its returns to the company had stagnated or started declining. They definitely have the "funding" to create more/new content, but they won't do it because it wouldn't bring more profit than they're making now, and they understand this because they're hardened old nips in their 50's and 60's, not overly emotionally attached trannies whose first MMO this is. This is how the game is wound down, you could see this from a mile away if you aren't a NEET manchild.
