Actually the girl in the OP image is holding a Steam Deck, meaning this thread is on topic.

Better processing at the same TDP = can run games for longer at lower graphics. If I can get 4 hours of semi-decent AAA graphics at 45FPS locked with a Deck 2 it'd be a day one buy.

you know what I love about switch 2?
>no need to pay for a subscription to play online;
>consumer friendly, you can easily install games from a different store and emulate other consoles without having to pay for 20yo roms;
>the games are cheap and constantly get discounts up to 90%;
>the nintendo workshop lets you make and share your own mods in a really easy way, and you can mod your games as much as you want; you can even mod games to remove censorship, because Nintendo cares about its adult fans;
>it's a definitive upgrade of the switch: Nintendo saw how much better the oled screen was on the switch one and kept it for the switch two instead of going back to a shitty lcd. This way fans won't have to buy a new console in a couple of years just to get a decent screen;
>Nintendo actively encourages fan projects and games instead of shutting them down
>nintendo keeps investing in original new games instead of milking the same 30yo series again and again and sell as new games what are basically dlcs or graphical updates.
Nintendo is simply the future of gaming.

>has the perfect balance between battery life and power
>actually allows you to play PC exclusives never meant for controllers
>ships with an OS that was designed for gaming, not locked down though so install whatever you please
Why do people get angry at the Steam Deck again?
>inb4 people cry not being able to run 2025 AAA well on a 1050ti laptop

>plays video games
This singlehandedly explains everything about the Steam Deck. Gaben just wanted to play FFXIV with his son while on the couch, so he made a machine that:
