Prayerful Strike is super underrated for basically any build that's not pure Int, everyone talks up Giant Hunt and Lion's Claw but Prayerful Strike has knockdown, big stance damage, big poise, and lifesteal that scales with your max HP. You can poise through entire boss fights and not even touch your red flask. I always fight Malenia with it since the first time I tried it, it more than evens the playing field against her.

I started my third run of it today. I beat it in launch week with maxed weapons and as many blessings as I could find, post-nerf with +18 weapons and only going up to 10 blessings, this run has maxed weapons but it's a lower level than either previous playthrough. Completely demolished Dancing Lion and Rellana with zero blessings used so far. It's fucking comical how much you can get away with when you actually build around trading blows.
