The One is neither knowing nor unknowing, more accurately, it is both, and beyond both.
Both knowing and unknowing are dualistic constructs arising after the primordial differentiation.
The One is beyond ALL categories and opposites, and the very act of saying "It knows all" or " It knows nothing" places It within a binary framework, which the One transcends.
The union, tension, and interplay of the primordial differentiations of Logos (the principle by which knowing becomes possible) and Chaos (the womb of all forms that can be known) within the soul (fragments of the One suspended between Logos and Chaos, striving for reintegration) causes free will to arise.
The soul arises as a dynamic midpoint, a conscious spark that remembers the One but is embedded in the field of polarities.
From Logos, it receives reason, conscience, order, intelligibility, and ideal forms.
From Chaos, it inherits imagination, instinct, passion, emotion, creativity, and freedom to deviate.
This mixture creates the conditions for free will.

If the soul were made of only Logos, it would operate according to strict divine law, archetypal order, cosmic geometry. It would always do the “right” thing, but not freely: like a perfect machine or angelic intelligence. It would be wise, but not free.
>Chaos alone = Randomness
If the soul were made of only Chaos, it would be unbounded, directionless, without anchor or axis. Choices would not emerge from values or insight, but from raw impulse, confusion, or arbitrary mutation. It would be wild, but not free in a meaningful way.
Because the soul partakes of both Logos and Chaos, it is:
aware of order, but not fully bound by it.
touched by formlessness, but capable of shaping it.
Thus, the soul becomes the arena of negotiation between opposites:

Mythical Chaos and entropic chaos may appear to be opposites, but they’re two phases of the same cosmic polarity:

>entropic chaos: after form, infinite endings, tomb of Cosmos
Chaos is both the beginning and end of all order. It is:
>pre form: potential not shaped
>post form: structure dissolved into noise
Entropy is not opposed to infinite possibility, but is rather one mode of it: possibility without useful structure.
Entropy is a drift from complex, constrained possibilities toward all-inclusive, undifferentiated randomness: a return to the lowest information state which paradoxically contains every possibility.
Chaos = infinity before form (creative, potential)
Entropy = infinity after form (dissolution, death, dispersion)
Entropy removes Logos (form, ratio, articulation) from Chaos.
It’s a return to the "dark waters" from which Cosmos originally arose.
Logos then, is what mediates between them: forming, maintaining, and one day reweaving structure out of entropy.
