The main issue with the anime is that the over-the-top insanely retarded violence has been censored and like 50% of the manga is people being dismembered in crazy ways. Even if the anime was a literal sideshow it would be top-tier if it included that, just because everything is so well written. It's still pretty fun to watch but it's like a 6/10 whereas the manga is a 9/10. Kingdom has the Berserk curse where it's so crazy it can't be properly adapted.
