Which brings up another point, any outdoor recreation areas are infested with instagram snowbunnies or destitute car camping homeless. The five military bases around the Springs area make this experience especially bad because you could be enjoying a nice trail and then all of a sudden a fucking fighter jet almost blows out your eardrums.

The only thing that CO really has going for it are some of the more central ranges that include peaks like Mt. Elbert because it's of significant distance away from city fags. Anything south or west of that is high desert don't let this librul state university map fool you.
