face dragon is 100% not good vs portal since portal can clear their board, relatively heal above lethal and wait for opponent to brick. Ramp dragon is kinda better since they focus on ramping super fast so they can play the big dragons while portal is on 5 cost

if you dont have miriam+alroutte i'd 100% recommend getting them since they make crafting+cheating out mechs giga-easy. You dont need to focus on going for gundam every game either, can win with spamming B mechs or going orchis x2
