It was too schizophrenic and aimless. When I saw pic related I got excited because I thought that with a proliferate Commander and obvious punny cards they could make ("set phasers to stun!") about it that there were going to be a slew of new stun cards. There were two. Warp meant we were going to get lots of good etb support effects right? We got one "whenever creature enters do damage" card. Space ships+stationing is obviously the big mechanic of the set and it feels like it has zero support outside of the cards themselves. Etc etc etc.

I'm getting really tired of how all these sets keep putting out barely a handful of any cards for different archetypes. Why bother dumping a new set every 6 weeks when it never supports anything that isn't artifacts or counters or landfall?
