Can we talk about the actual movie now, instead of this forced controversy bullshit?
>What game will they adapt?
>Who will they hire to play Ganondorf?
>Will Link get a companion like Navi?
>Will the soundtrack be kino, or slop like Illumination's Super Mario Bros. soundtrack?
>Will the age rating be PG or PG13?

Whatever it'll be, it's absolutely going to follow the OoT/BoTW narrative format. Because at the end of the day, both of those games share the same basic narrative structure.
>There is a prophecy that Ganon will ruin Hyrule
>Link and Zelda try to stop it by prepping ahead of time
>psyche - Ganon knew what they were up to, and overtakes Hyrule by outwitting them at their own game
>Link forced into cryo-sleep while shit's hitting the fan
>He wakes up x-years into the future to find that Ganon's fucked over everything, Zelda is MIA, Hyrule's races are in turmoil, and soon the entire world will be at stake if Link doesn't stop him
>acquires the Master Sword to slay evil and hopefully, slay or seal Ganon with it
>cue Link going to x-regions and interacting with sages/champions/ambassadors of x-races to acquire x-mcguffins in order to certify a victory against Ganon
>Link befriends members of the key races of Hyrule, who grant him the the special x-mcguffins after becoming sages/champions/whatever
>Link heads to Hyrule Castle to slay Ganon
>plot twist: Zelda was alive/helping Link this entire time
>Link and Zelda team against Ganon, they win and manage to slay him or seal him for x-years, story's over, Hyrule can start rebuilding itself, etc etc etc...
There you go, there's your Zelda movie trilogy.
