Remove hidden stats, make it so you keep your speed when charging a jump, make rails give you higher tiers of boost faster and remove the stupid fucking mechanic of mashing the item button to stop the item wheel in favor of the lower your placement in the race the faster the wheel stops.

There now the game feels better paced already.
