I'm in fall of year 3 in my first playthrough, almost at my 1 year anniversary with Leah (not a the best choice, not the worst). When do the other characters start shackin up with eachother? Surely they don't stay single forever?

Personally I suspect that fewer people would be interested in Jas if there were no opportunities to be an iconoclast and a troll by liking what other people don't like.

In farming sims? Never. The bachelors and bachelorettes stay single forever so that you can divorce your current spouse and marry them if you want. It's sad but it's a choice built on gameplay. In some RPGs, your potential romantic partners might find each other if you don't choose to pursue them romantically, but farm sims are generally meant to be played for as long as you want and don't have a clear ending. That's why Clint can never ever get with Emily, since she's a romance option.

It's annoying in anime when the girls around the main protag MUST stay single even after it's clear that he's pursuing one of them in particular and even if another male character would make a good match for one of the others, like with Kohta and Saya in High School of the Dead.
