I actually did this at my highschool prom. I was a fat kid from grade 7 up until grade 11 when my dad pretty much forces me to be a pack mule for his grocery store. Teenaged metabolism combined with frequent labor meant I dropped 40-something pounds by the time prom rolled around. I’d been a fat ugly loser my whole life up until then, being ignored when I wasn’t being mocked. Then at prom a cute girl I kinda knew through elementary school walked up to me, grabbed my hand, and told me to dance with her. Teen-me assumed it was either pity, mean-spirited charity, or a set up to a ‘let’s fuck with the fat ugly loser’ prank.
I yanked my hand away so hard she lurched forward (since she was actually, sincerely, holding my hand) and hissed ‘fuck off’. She smiled and said nothing and walked away. Later at the prom her friends cornered me and chewed me out for making her cry. Apparently she liked me since elementary school, and was so proud of me for dropping the nerd-flab. I tried to apologize later but she always told me to ‘fuck off’.

you dont, had an early godhand with Parhelion 2 out early on turn 3 or 4, and a friend had a total crashout resulting in insta scooping - which of course meant the other players had to scoop too.
with an early Parhelion, you are still 3 entire turns/combats away of killing the first out of 3 opponents, there is plenty of time to at least try to figure something out.
The kicker is: there are Voltrons in our playgroup that take out a player, and the whole table even, quicker. one of which is even in the roster of the one that had the meltie

Sadly no. I gave it another try last week and still couldn't bring myself to keep playing, my final cope for it is the DLC.
If you really want to play it go with the first game, this one is essentially a side grade, some things are improved, others are much worse. Performance is still ass. Most I would pay for it currently would be $10.
