What does /v/ think of their other gamejam project? I tried the demo recently and felt pretty weak compared to PEAK, it felt more like a quick coop minigame like Overcooked or Humans Fall Flat than a proper full game, even 'friendslop' ones

Tried Crashout Crew, if PEAK was a 9/10 then CC is just a 7.5/10. Solid, simple, but less "emergent" by design.
Also I keep getting stuck by a single pixel on those loading conveyors so I can't speed load and hit the big red button in 1 motion.

What you need to do to beat the game is use shelves and reinforced shelves, place and use them near the exit to keep your cargo protected from hazards. Also pick up two teleporters and the game starts playing itself

that one in particular sucks, marshmallows are a little test in resource management. If you fail to get one then you should ask another scout for food or bank on finding some up ahead in luggage or in whatever you can forage. Just spawning them in removes just another challenge that gets thrown at you. The worst I have seen was in a ascent 7 lobby where the host just kept spawning Scout effigy's to revive dead scouts. What the FUCK is the god damn point of ascent 7 if you are going to constantly spawn scout effigy's? I just left the lobby at that point since clearly I was not compatible with the other players and it was genuinely pissing me off.

Needs more context.
Generally, if a climb is difficult (>75% stam, and especially if it needs extra stam), it's only courteous to relay that information to other climbers.
You'll see new players often never having an idea of how far their stamina can carry them.

Speaking of leading people to their deaths; I had one case where FIVE players followed me around an overhang, only to start dropping like flies half-way through.
I did tell them to place a piton, one that I knew they had because it was in luggage on the way there, but they all seemed so confident they could follow me.

The most negligent homicides one player's action created, that I've seen, was probably by Squink (of all scouts, but it makes sense if you think about it), last night. He took a path where he used lollipops to cross.
The other players blindly followed him a part of the way, only to realize there was no actual, reasonably climbable path to take. After wasting tools to achieve nothing, the SEVEN scouts were later left stuck without aid, to suicide into lava.
