2) Now you still get to pile in 3inches after the charge, do both players take turns piling in?

However your advice basically amounted to "wraithbone bad contrast bad" which isnt really advice Im particularly interested in because it doesnt help me with what i think are my painting flaws. My flaws tend to be general impatience, occasional laziness, maybe issues with color theory and not knowing how to apply lighting highlights sometimes, etc. But wraithbone primer has never been something i had issues with that werent my own fault.

Start darker, you mean black primer? Like I said, I feel like I have more control over how I paint a given color when It starts at a sort of "medium" saturation. I can add any shade that I like or any glazed color if I wanna try something interesting. If I start with black the color is already darker and preshaded and I cant play around with it like I'd want to.

And generally I enjoy brighter more saturated color on my models. Im not a fan of grimdark and heavy weathering stuff, I like to see the colors pop even from Eye level, and a light primer helps keep that no matter how much I darken the shadows.

Thoughts on this color scheme? It's black legion armor, militarum green over zandri dust with ogryn camo highlight. Standard cadian tan pantaloons, probably went too heavy with ushabti bone as they're quite light. New to 40k this is my 2nd model I've ever painted. New BT Vows are good. Now you've got a variety of choices depending on the mission and the opponent. Accept Any Challenge combined with advance and charge and rerolling charges is fucking mean. At least there's a reason to not just take Uphold 99% of the time now. 20 Man Crusaders getting a blood surge move is cool too; and apparently Sword Brethren get to charge a unit that falls back from them.

Something like a kit of 20 zombies would do fine as a push fit kit

Pushfit is also good for those super basic starter sets, the ones that come with paints and brushes too as a super easy way to get people started. I bought the Marines for 10th edition 2nd hand and I think those were push to fit too for the most part (its been two years now so I cant remember, but I believe I used very little glue)

Picrel is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen though, 10 models, with mixed weapons, meaning if you even wanted to field these boyz you would need multiple of these kits to get the right amount of sluggas/shootas. Then because there are so few designs you would see an overlap of the same model within the same squad
For those reasons I actually think this kit is the worst GW has ever made

I wouldn't know personally, these are the only ones I have. Imperial Terminators were definitely increased in size with the latest models though, so I think you're right. The size difference isn't too big, especially with the spike racks making the CSM ones appear taller, and I believe their poses are a little more hunched.

I did a whole unit-by-unit list of my thoughts on the new stuff the day it was announced. I'll just repost a pic of it here instead of typing it all up again. tl;dr great stuff all around, most of my nitpicks are down to personal taste and I have the ability to change what I don't like so all in all I'm stoked and set to make sure the owner of my LGS doesn't need to worry about his rent at all the month these drop.

They do come with enough heads to outfit every model with all male or female depending on preference in every infantry box, obviously with facial hair for the male heads, but I think personally that making shirtless/collarless infantry units is a great chance to make more traditionally dwarfy, huge beards for the unit that GW failed to capitalize on. Obviously I can and did do that myself but it is a little annoying to not have the option in the box, and frankly, they're dwarfs. They SHOULD have bigass beards where available. I can live with the regular infantry not having them - they're professional soldiers in void armor, it makes sense for their facial hair to be properly trimmed to not get in the way of their equipment - but the berserks especially should be more untamed and unkempt.

Is the CSM list utilizing "Packbound Zealots" powerful in some way?
I was thinking thousand sons and units of havoks as tzeentch when they dark pacts and get 5's/6's for critical hits. I know the sons can't get the dark pacts but they're nice on their own with ignores cover, -2AP.
