>>716013769>Demandingnta but I'm not demanding anything. I think people should be free to make whatever they want so long as it's not harming anyone. You don't like gooner shit and that's fine. I don't play porn games either and I can take or leave fanservice. Most of the time fanservice-centric designs aren't appealing anyway.
But I don't think a person's right to create things that they like should ever be taken away.
Now I'm going to start slinging accusations about you, tell me if I'm wrong: this isn't about the coomer shit. You could very easily ignore it. Hide threads or posts, block lewd games from sight. It's not difficult to avoid seeing these things. Hell, advocate for better restrictions on this stuff and make it easier to search for non-coomer shit, THAT would be a good use of your time.
HOWEVER this isn't your goal. Your goal is specifically to take control. This is moral grandstanding, you want something to feel superior about. You want to put others down and feel justified in it. Targeting porn games gives you the rush you need to belittle others while also feeling validated. You can handwave any opposition away by calling people gooners.
Furthermore, it is plainly obvious the people pushing for financial restriction toward monetization of this sort of material are only targeting gooner material because it gives them CONTROL. That's entirely what this is about. They want a foothold to gain control over media. So propaganda becomes easier to push. Restricting a person's freedoms is so much easier when you think you have a moral grounding for it.
But this isn't moral. This is a blatant attack on freedom.
