It could be that you are projecting an interest, albeit possibly a obsession considering where you are and what you are posting and saying.
My Grandfather actually grew up in the Third Reich, he became a policeman. I have many first hand accounts you don't read about in books about starvation and cannibalism.
Maybe you need to step back and think about the direction of life and where you want it to lead.
You have a long path ahead of you.
Turning to the past filled with pain might not be the best direction.
Move forward.
