You have a garden and you don't grow any fruit or vegetables in it whatsoever? I was wrong, Hungary isn't Eastern European after all.
I bet that lemon tree smells great though. One day, it's going produce some fine lemonade, I'm sure.

The whole movie lacked proper motivations and progressions. It felt like a serious of clips the writer wanted to make.
Why does the cold open not relate or give backstory to the characters we're suppose to care about?
Why go to the mainland to kill infected and bring home no supplies when the risk is so high? What are stakes that would warrant that?
Why take your cognitively impaired mom back to the mainland for a "doctor" you've never met when you just nearly escaped death with your capable father moments before?
Why have no emotion to your mother being euthanized when you just abandoned your father and entire life back home to help keep her alive?
Why are soldiers wearing PPE with full auto guns getting picked off whilst men with bows and arrows are making quick work of non-alpha infected?
Why have the baby scene if the child is just going to get dumped back home when it's no longer convenient for the story?
Also, the rage virus had clear parameters before. It was basically just a virus that turned people rabid. Now it's evolving them into gigantic steriod men who can be shot with 10 arrows, turning into gigantic slug-like people, etc. In the first movies, the infected would deteriorate quickly, how is it possible for humans to wonder around 28 years in a forest and survive without proper brain function?
So much of this just didn't make sense to me, from an in-universe and story telling perspective, not even accounting for the ending.
