Unfortunately they would need to print dozens of new angels to bring them on par with pushed tribes like dragons. They'd probably have to start making them multicolored too. And the art would be ugly as hell.
IMO they're a dead tribe. It'll take 10 more years of releases to have enough with a competitive curve and by then 4cmc 7/7s with 3-4 keywords and insane value will likely be the norm for "big" creatures.
