I do minimal fast travel permadeath runs as well except I'm shit at the game lol.
>died in the H&H tool factory when I didn't notice five frag mines in one doorway
>died to a bunch of fire geckos by Forlorn Hope because they surrounded me
>died to the grenade bouquet in the Fiend vault (almost at the end of the game)
>died to the janky gas explosion in Vault 19 (still mad about this)
Permadeath really brings out the mechanics in my opinion. You really have to make use of crafting, the reloading bench, and all kinds of items you'd likely ignore in a normal playthrough.
