Reposting from the tail end of the last thread. Bought my first bike a few days ago and I plan to start practicing with it tomorrow. 2008 Honda Rebel, 250cc. A few days off during work days allows a lot less traffic to contend with. All the gear squared away, and insurance soon to follow. Even scheduled a class.

Now all I have to do is not get myself killed or let someone else do the deed.

Any advice, exercises, encouragement to get a litre bike as soon as possible?

Not that other anon but here's my bike. Bought it a couple of days ago and I am getting my learners permit tomorrow. 250cc rebel in good shape, and all the (reasonable) gear. The yurop safety cert filters saved me a lotta research time, if not cash.

I plan to start practicing this week since Ive got days off on workdays and that means less traffic on the roads. Jyst have to not get killed now.
