Okay yes but to be fair, this Vanille model is a handcrafted, fan mod. They took her high poly cutscene model from the game files and manually enhanced all the details. She doesn't look this good in the game on a console whatsoever, and she doesn't look that good on PC without a mod.
The character models in FFXIII are absolutely phenomenal though, yes. There's a certain charm to them, they are peak fidelity meeting with artstyle and so they have aged very nicely. In some ways, they look better than new stuff, absolutely true.
