Currently the republicans dont focus on really any of these issues because they pander to the older citizens in this country by "returning" to earlier eras. they want us to bring back manufacturing, force women into motherhood, and make degrees valuable by making school too expensive. None of these are solutions to the issue, they simply promote mass poverty

In general this is what the democrats wanted to accomplish prior to the trump administration and new GOP focus on the culture war
