There was only one joke that I thought was well-executed. I got what they were trying to do with the rest, it just all had timing issues or just wasn't as funny as we're supposed to think it is. I'd be willing to accept there's some translation issue, but everyone has insisted that no knowledge of the Japanese language is required, and that the subs have been well done.

I thought most of the humor was pretty good, but the noodle scene was fucking hilarious. It had excellent comedic timing and a fantastic payoff. The whole sequence with the music was presented so well, I was fucking dying
