>front bumper paint on my shitbox is fucked (previous owner just brushed over it multiple times without removing the old layers)
>getting a new bumper is super cheap
>except parts in my color code virtually do not exist for some reason
>don't have the tools or skills to diy
>going to a professional to fix it can cost over 400 bucks
>will look like shit anyways because now the bumper is in pristine condition while the rest of the paint on the car is still scuffed
>can pay to let the entire car get resprayed, but this will cost as much as buying a new shitbox entirely
What the fuck do I do?
It's a peugeot 206 with the black color code KTV (metallic black), but for some reason I literally cannot find a single part online that has this color code for a 206, instead it's all fucking EXL (obsidian/noir black).
Should I just embrace the clown-car mentality and get a miss-matched/different shade black bumper??
This car is 17 years old and obviously has defects here and there. Normally I would eventually just get a new one when this one breaks down completely, but if I DO end up respraying it completely I feel like I will be literally married to it for the rest of my life.
