what do you mean? just riding around for 30-60 mins a day do jack shit to the body imo. like unless it's very intense or full effort it won't do much. but yeah for the most part I think it's my diet. I don't eat enough protein (due to being poor and also lazy). I'm a carb boy I eat goyslop all day (due to cheap and convenient) only good side is I also mix protein and lotta veggies in so it's somewhat redeemable.
I will save one or maybe even two year for anything worthwhile. thank you for re-affirming my view on cleaning and lubing the bike.
I went to a bike repair shop (that seems professional and expert) the wife of that bike guy kept nagging me to buy her lube for "only" $13 it's "way better than the cheap shit out there that destroys your bike" and whatever. I can't even afford fucking brand name GREASE. they use top-of-the-line grease for their service each time they apparently use $4 worth of grease just for a section alone (BB and pedal, or front&rear hubs, etc..)
oh and the rubber for dropbar? they take at least $30 to change it because they just can't put it in. they have to take all the wire out and stuff. I don't know if that's really necessary or not?
either way I believe that shop's skill and quality, but I think they only offer premium prices for any service.
