I dunno about the true events of development, but I think Covid really shifted around releases and priorities. What I do believe is the Engage engine made with Unity will be used for their FEs.
On that note, I’ve had a Shezleth fanfiction in my head that stems of “what if Shez was in Jeralt’s mercs early on”. Their dynamic would be so good because eventually they’d want to know their own pasts, and it would eventually reveal something even beyond the Slitherers.
I’m waiting to see what the next FE is (if Shez in 3H Switch 2 edition happens) before I commit to full autism in writing it all out lol.

Three Houses Switch 2 edition. If it adds Shez I will buy a (digital) copy for every fellow Shezleth believer. Monica would be cool too (if then tone down the Edel simping)
