my company hired Tata to do an incredibly simple AD migration for a company we bought, all they had to do was get each site connected with VPNs to our HQ site and build a domain trust. There were only 40 or so sites and implementation should have only taken about a week or two at most. We would have done it ourselves but our department was down 4 engineers partially because the hurricanes and one guy was out on FMLA.
These fucking retards roped in a total of THIRTY different people to do this work, including project managers, network engineers, "Microsoft Experts", etc. They went over project time by 3 weeks and half the sites were incorrectly set up, network-wise. wrong subnets, using weaker encryption than what we specified (one site even had a random GRE tunnel with NO FUCKING ENCRYPTION), passwords left in text files on the domain controllers, they installed web browsers on the DCs, PDF readers, etc.
The end product that they delivered was so bad that my director decided we were just going to nuke everything and rebuild every site once everyone got back. We have a company policy to simply not hire any companies based outside of the US.
If you've ever tried to get a job in IT in the last decade you're going to get picked last as a white man if the hiring manager is Indian, likely not at all. Indians are fucking scum.
