Regarding ship wars, I think Chapter 5 and the "inferno of jealousy" will only halfway be about Asgore and Toriel/Sans, the other part being teenager drama relating to the Festival. Too many have been teased at the same time with varying degrees of seriousness, and also the game continuing to have abundant themes of abandonment and betrayal as key elements.
