where is this thought pattern coming from? not only do i not feel insecure about dating a surgeon, i am completely apathetic towards it.

also,if i were to guess, i think this is some sort of cope. for example, when women say "my standard are high", what they really mean is that they are secretly to terms with the fact that they can't be the man they think society wants them to be and that they failed to become, and they have to make an excuse for the low libido they innately possess, so they have to pretend like it's not them that has the problem. women only ever reach beta male status.
