Oh let's not forget that cringe ass story he wrote about DA RIVALS. MF thinks he's Daisuke writing Ky vs Sol. Dawg, you're not even Mori writing Jin vs Ragna lmao.

Okay, here we go, time to dig into this mess of a "rival" story. Buckle up, buttercup.

You know, there are times in an RPG when you're just going along, fighting monsters, solving puzzles, and then... BAM. Suddenly you're hit with a plot twist so awkward it makes you wish you were just stabbing zombies for the fiftieth time instead of listening to this disaster of a backstory.

Let's start with Gwen and Winnie. Holy crap, talk about forced drama. These two are supposed to be rivals, right? A cat mercenary and a muscular wolf barbarian? Sounds cool, right? Like we’re going to get some wild animal violence—and instead we get a couple of characters that might as well be arguing over a parking space.

Gwen attacked Winifred’s village 10 years ago. Yeah, that's the big dramatic setup! I guess the game developer thought, "Hey, what if we just throw in a random tragedy to make them hate each other and never explain it well?" I mean, sure, that sounds like a GREAT way to not give a crap about real character motivation. So Gwen’s a part of a raiding party that pillaged Winifred's home. Totally justifiable—except for the whole "killing people" thing. And of course, Winifred has hated Gwen ever since. Oh, so you hate her because she killed some people in your village when she was just 18? Nice, but that doesn’t make her a sociopathic monster for doing her job. Yes, I said it, her job! She’s a barbarian! It’s in her blood to pillage and destroy things. Get over it.
