I’m thinking of starting to make a game if I don’t get a job this summer, I’m thinking of doing a dungeon crawler kinda like king’s field with very rudimentary 3d since I can’t draw for shit(how originals), the thing is I’m struggling to find interesting mechanics, I already have that go in back out kinda thing like king’s field (god I fucking love king’s field) I have basically most of the setting in my head already, problem is I don’t have that much interesting original mechanics, the combat I kinda wanted to put in a side step mechanic but fight knight’s already kinda that, maybe it’s original enough in a non grid environment like real time combat, there’s more of that getting behind the enemy and back attacks and what not thing going on, like I attack the front and enemy does a stab and i dodge to the side and the he spins so I go back and then I go behind him and he does a back attack or whatever and it could have a more environment focused thing going on like more traps and enclosed spaces like more of a dungeon, sen’s fortress kinda thing,I love sen’s, I love the traps stuff, I just doesn’t feel very original over all
The setting is at least somewhat original I hope

Is not about that dumbass. I like deltarune for instance, despite the fact 90% of its player base are a bunch on tumblrinas and xittertroons.
The big difference is that deltarune was made by a Jewish male (even if he's a faggot) Toby still has the spark on him to make good things. TADC was made by a tranny and those freaks can NEVER make anything good due to them sacrificing the spark I mentioned earlier to live on a delusion
