Noelle is being misled like a lot of people were by conflating "Kris is acting differently because we're controlling them" with "Kris is acting differently because they've experienced genuine personal growth and changed"
She's understandably put off by Kris speaking in a voice that isn't the one she knows, but Kris has also genuinely become more outgoing and confident. We're not the one increasing their GUTS stat each Chapter.
