Threads ago i made the "schizobosses are the 5 stages of grief" theory and Ramb, while denied of a schizoboss fight, is the one who more or less guides us to the 3rd shadow crystal indirectly by providing us the means to that end (playing the true game and getting the shadow mantle, which would be the equivalent of fighting a schizoboss and getting an equip + shadow crystal).
Ramb is just depressed and is just going down with the sinking ship (depression being the lowest point of the stages of grief) and would rather get others up before himself.

As for the other stages of grief, its simple

I think the normal route fight was more impactful than weird route.
Something about the entire gang seeing this schizofuckass talk crazy, then after working our way to sever his strings thinking we can free and recruit the guy, only for the guy to tumble and crash down as a puppet whose strings are cut, just a ragdoll on the floor. Then following that is Kris screaming like hell when asked about how he feels about this fight, Spamton is built different.

Only way i can see Spamton being topped is a schizoboss that goes RAW on what actually goes on with the town and shit goes full twin peaks. God, i still think about the possibiilty that the darkner to be the next schizoid is going to be Toriel's wedding ring (something asgore still holds to) and said ring knows what happened with that skank before the divorce, if there's someone other than Tenna that witnessed with full details what went down, it is that thing. im a rudy knight believer, the logistics dont quite add up for carol knight barring some secret tunnel bullshit, and he both has motive and means to be in cahoots with carol

the smoking gun to me is how he keeps trying to get kris to stop asgore giving him flowers
asgore knows objects can report back if a dark world is created that engulfs them, which is why he's trying his hardest to keep flowers on toriel and rudy at all times (people he cares about)

rudy can't prove that asgore is doing this on purpose

i would also accept rudy equipped with dess' belongings or rudy being the one to actually seed the dess darkner with her belongings (darkners based on lightners only appear under very specific conditions)
