How to read the Bible:

Start with Mathew. only Mathew remained true to Jesus. Just ignore the part where he say that Jesus told the apostles to buy a sword. Mathew was tripping balls in that part, and it is obvious, because this part goes against everything Jesus taught. Back in the days Mathew could not comprehend Jesus.

Jesus did perform some miracles in Nazareth, but very few.

>So he was not able to perform any mighty deed there, apart from curing a few sick people by laying his hands on them.
>He was amazed at their lack of faith. He went around to the villages in the vicinity teaching.

It was their lack of faith. If you're an atheist, you'll not be able to believe in anything that is not material. Atheism is a disease.

>And coming into his own country (homeland), he was teaching them in their synagogue, so that they were amazed and said: "Where [did] this man [get] this wisdom and these powers (miracles)?"
>Isn't this the son of the carpenter (craftsman)? Isn't his mother called Mary, and his brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas?"
>"And his sisters, aren’t they all with us? Where then [did] this man [get] all these things?"
>And they were scandalized by him (took offense at him). But Jesus said to them: "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house."
>And he did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief.

Pay attention, atheists. You see nothing Divine because you don't want to. It is your choice. And it doesn't even matter if I warn you or not, you'll not believe anyways.
