IIRC they did mitigate the issues with sidetalking and having to take the batteries out in later versions but by then the damage was done. Taco phones were something people couldn't unsee.

I think it's like >>11855982 said, they decided being first out of the gate was their only shot and just rushed to get it functional even if it wasn't really ready yet. The N-Gage 1.0 reeks of compromised design choices

This. They don't have a coherent plot because they're not writing an actual narrative. Doom being a Stark lookalike makes no fucking sense The plot only exists to facilitate memberberry casting so of course it leads to nowhere

1) There are zero legitimate stars in this picture. The two biggest names are probably Sebastian Stan and Pugh and neither of them move the needle at all.
2) For the most part these are barely even B-tier characters. Red Guardian, 2nd string black Black Widow, 2nd string Captain America and Captain America's sidekick...it's like a preseason NFL game where none of the starters are playing.
3) And while having an underwhelming cast and roster doesn't necessarily make it bad, it means the plebs are only going to show up opening weekend because of the branding. Which is a problem since they diluted the brand so badly. There's been more Marvel content than ever the past few years but none of it was significant.

>6 Episodes of Loki season 2
>6 episodes of Ms. Marvel
>6 episodes of Secret Invasion
>9 episodes of She-Hulk
>9 episodes of fucking Agatha all Along
>Love and Thunder (bad)
>Wakanda for niggers (bad but no one wanted to admit it at the time)
>Quantumania (bad)
>Brave New world (bad)

That's what Marvel is now. A bunch of filler for Disney+ and a series of increasingly meh or genuinely bad films. GOTG 3 is the only semi-competent MCU movie made in the last few years. You can't release two years of dreck an then expect people to still show up for some unheralded team-up movie featuring a bunch of nobodies. The trust is gone. As it should be. No one should trust Disney

It really is such a creatively bankrupt move

>hey so you know how we ended the initial Marvel era, gave the characters some closure and tired to move along?
>but then the characters we replaced everyone with kind of sucked?
>well we immediately decided to backpedal and bring back the cast you did like
>in roles they shouldn't be playing
>in a way that makes no sense
>but the important thing is that guy you liked is in the movie again
>so we're back to automatic billions at the box office r-right?

And the fact that Downey is doing it is just cringe AF. He had a decade on top and made like half a billion. He's good. He just wants the attention, I guess?
