It's not illogical. The obvious fact of the matter is that he considered McCoy one of his best friends despite their bickering. Which suggests Spock did enjoy, otherwise he wouldn't have also participated in it. And you could even argue that being lovingly bullied for his Vulcan qualities was even validating for him since McCoy was always pointing out how he was more like alien and we know Spock tried to suppress his most human traits since he wad taught they were "inferior" or whatever. But at the end of the day, what it they felt for each other was love. McCoy doesn't have a hateful bone in his body.

So I'm watching Enterprise, this episode called Shadows of P'Jem. Correct me if I'm wrong but does this not retcon Journey to Babel? Archer just casually mentioned some info he found in a fucking database that Vulcans have a mining agreement with Coridan but back during this time there were no agreementsa nd only illegal mining operations. Gav said to Sarek that Vulcans had no mining interest so they shouldn't care about admitting it into the Federation. So either that agreement was somehow top secret info that Tellarites or Andorians somehow didn't know in the 23rd century that Archer easily looked it up in a database 100 years before, and Vulcan was doing illegal mining all along or...what? Am I missing something?
