Noelle is pretty much as nerdy as Berdly, but Berdly is less creepy and pushy, mostly inoffensively lives in his headcanon fantasy land, knows when to back off when it conflicts with reality and has shown to have a capacity for selfless sacrifice (even if it's kinda chuuni). His and Noelle's crushes on Susie are equally delusional. Yet the fandom treats Berdly as some kind of irredeemable thought-rapist chuddy, while Noelle is a wholesome smol bean chungus who's entitled to Susie's fat dual clits etc.
That says something about our're society, I think.
