....what happened to this game's lore man

Why can I not stand watching cutscenes or listening to dialogue anymore? If a game starts with a lengthy intro segment and/or a hand-holdy tutorial, I get an intense urge to close and refund.

>horrendous dialogue that goes on for half an hour before any real gameplay
>enemies have 3 attacks
>ultra generous parry window
>spam the same combo string while occasionally doing a shield bash
>get a companion, he just rushes in and dies a lot
>game spawns 3 archers on perches that I can't reach while I'm fighting 3 melee mobs below
Not for me I guess, nice tits and ass though.
