Nobody at the time took the threat seriously, they didn't believe non whites would ever have any significant population in Europe or America. Nazis were trying to prevent a problem that it was easy to deny could ever happen.

But it all played out like they warned it would, for the reasons they said it would. But turning Europe into a white ethnostate isn't all the Nazis wanted to do, they also wanted to ensure that culture remained conducive to the perpetuation of their people.
