Then choose a model. I'd recommend starting with Deepseek R1, Deepseek V3, or Gemini.

> Deepseek R1:
- Sign up at openrouter.ai
- OpenRouter gives 50 messages daily for free, or 1,000 if you deposit $10 (the credits won't be consumed for free models, but you still need to deposit it)
- Go to openrouter.ai/settings/keys and generate an API key
- In SillyTavern, configure it like this:
