Something I find funny is that it seems they want Kamala to move past Highschool but can't fully commit either because of timeline issues (it would mean Miles her other teen superhero friends would have to graduate as well or somehow stay behind) or due to editorial not willing to let go of Kamala being in highschool or both.

So now you have this weird compromise where Kamala is still 16 but gets to act like she's in college because she's taking college courses in a college dorm as well even though that's not how highschool college classes work
