Bloodlines is derivative of Deus Ex only if you're one of the retards that think it's an "immersive sim". The fact of the matter that you're trying desperately to move away from is this: VtMB is remembered solely for its atmosphere, character designs/animations and writing. All three of those aspects showcased so far have not hit the mark and Paradox has been running damage control in order to compare the game to other games that are not related to VtMB in order to lessen the blow.
