So after not having played this in well over a decade I've been wanting to pick this back up again this fall. My first play through only lasted ~30 minutes until the game crashed or something and I haven't looked back since until of recent and what knowledge I do have of it came from here.

The nephandi book is such a mixed bag because on one hand it seems to claim that anyone conservative is a gigaevil voidmage that literally wants to destroy the world but on the other it has a lot of worldbuilding around Nephandi and their progression that while it doesn't really fit with the MtAs setting is really cool. I'd really like it if we got more about the black diamond and less about how everyone the author doesn't like is a nephandi. Base WoD is very much with the title of "Your World of Darkness" which inspires your own take. A lot of the Forgotten Realms are explored by incredibly 3/10 modules which are a nightmare to run, are dogshit to play and have 0 fun due to low levels. Its horridly unbalanced, incredibly lacking in flavour and mostly done to kill your character rather than to develop a personality with your character. It's all stats and all rolls rather than flavour and fun first with rolls and mechanics second

"Szlachta" literally means "nobility" in Polish... but the verb "szlachtować" means "to butcher" which is hilarious when you think about it, but very fitting.
Also, "Tzimisce" is just a made up word that doesn't mean anything, but is just supposed to sound slavic enough. But in Polish "Tzimisce" sounds very similar to "trzy misie" which translates to "three teddy bears". And this completely kills the horror of the clan. Polish VtM players had so much fun with that stupid name back in the day.
