So after not having played this in well over a decade I've been wanting to pick this back up again this fall. My first play through only lasted ~30 minutes until the game crashed or something and I haven't looked back since until of recent and what knowledge I do have of it came from here.

Is the game still a buggy mess? I'd be willing to take the time in patching it up if needed. Is it worth it? What am I in for?
