I was going to respond to a comment but I'll put this as a comment to refer back to:
Why do people not read nor understand what the initiative is about? The website has an FAQ, it has a mission statement, it has specific examples of what they would want based on previous games that have ended services but are entirely playable. Beyond the examples provided, there are countless other examples from games that existed back in the 90's and continue to exist and be played to this day with no problems or additional work by developers. Why are people so willing to jump into something with assumptions then get mad about those assumptions without seeing if those assumptions are true or false? Why is it that we have to answer the same FUCKING QUESTIONS over and over again instead of opening dialogue to those who know what the FUCK they are talking about and raise legitimate concerns and have a calm, rational dialogue about it?
Why did it take for dramaslop for people to even bother to look into this and get the information from primary sources? Why?
