Consequentialism is the most retarded thing ever so it's no surprise it appeals to reddit midwits and leftist cucks. Intentions are what matters. It's easily the thing that matters most and it's not even close. If someone steps on my shoe accidentally and apologizes I don't even care I'm not going to be an asshole about it I have no idea what kind of a day he had and he didn't do it on purpose. But if someone steps on my shoe and laughs in my face about it and looks to start a fight...well that's a whole different situation even if the consequences for me are the same.

In short people make mistakes even when their intentions are good and if their heart is in the right place you should take that into consideration.
