I just can't do another expansion of the god awful gameplay systems

the savage gear lockout system is scuffed beyond belief, gear itself is pitiful "get as much crit as you want
open world might as well not exist at all outside of hunts
job design is beyond stagnant and keeps getting worse because they want to make encounters more intricate; the intricate encounter design? throwing a bunch of aoes at you... sugoi.......
plogons completely shape the landscape of the game yet yoship refuses to acknowledge they exist so there's a gigantic disconnect there
server tic is still .3/s yes that is 300ms innate delay; nobody talks about this because its just something you get used to as you play

8.0 will not change anything, studio 3 is being spread way too thin to make any massive sweeping changes with the game

I think it was a mistake to play a japanese MMO, they value non-JP feedback very little, barely ever considering anything and yet they want WORLDWIDE PARTIY for 8.0 when they can't even consider worldwide opinions

MSQ is at a low point
raids are getting neglected
nothing is being done about rampant plugin usage, causing further problems beneath the surface
and CBU3 could not give a single fuck about any of it because they're too busy working on FFT remake

There is nothing more xivggy than watching movies that we've seen dozens of times already all together while our virtual avatars are afk sitting on a couch in FFXIV while synced to a third party plugin that downloads all our bbl futa mods.
Remus really wasn't lying, Dawntrail really has the best content out of any FFXIV expansion, possibly any MMORPG, ever.
