I like to imagine the posters in these threads as Circus characters. It makes everything a lot cozier and funnier too.

I just thought of something: remember how Jax said they had been trapped for years? And, taking into account that access to the circus is through virtual reality goggles and that these places are usually abandoned, I came to the conclusion that their human bodies must have already died, since they are in abandoned places where no one can help them and no one knows they are there. That is why I say that their human bodies must have died, since a living being must eat and hydrate itself. They must have already died and only the consciousness passed to the digital circus.
