china is the honey trap of the global trade. at first it looks like a giant market as you put it but they have fuck tons of domestic regulations for foreign capital and as time moves on when you open your eyes one day all of your trade secrets have been compromised and then their joint venture basically throws you away once you are useless to them. you realize they churn out your products 5x cheaper and you are now kicked out of the said market
